INTERNSHIP, Production & Product Development
Position Summary
In this role you will work directly with our Production team, our factories, suppliers and development team to ensure that our products are made sustainability and on time. You will work directly with our factories, cutting rooms, dyers and suppliers. You will assist with preparing cutting tickets, patterns, quality controls, spec sheets and samples.
Experience or background with apparel design, sewing and construction. Love of beautiful clothes and an eye for detail is a must. Work closely with our director of production and our local factories to ensure we deliver the best to our customers.
Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development and production of our lingerie & swimwear

Assist in research, development, pattern and sample making

Participate in fittings

You will be involved in sourcing, production, and vendor/factory relationships

You will work alongside the design & production team, our sample rooms, factories & pattern makers as we design & produce the new collection

Gain experience with our ERP (PLM) software used industry wide
Qualifications

Student in fashion related major

Knowledge of fashion apparel construction and sewing

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite preferred

INTERNSHIP, Digital Marketing
Position Summary
This internship focuses on branding initiatives through social media channels, email marketing, and our website. You will work with our marketing director to manage assets, create on-brand messaging, and leverage content across the various owned channels.
Potential candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the Araks brand.
Responsibilities

Helping to launch new collections and seasonal sales, format content for our online journal, and promote special collaborations

Assist in creating on-brand content and messaging for all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, & Pinterest) and weekly newsletters

Edit, organize, and prep digital photos and assets for Shopify, Klaviyo, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest

Hands on experience in our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and our e-CRM platform (Klaviyo)
Qualifications

Interested in fashion and retail

Must be responsible, eager to learn, tech-savvy, and team-oriented

Avid user of Instagram and TikTok (please share handles in your resume)

Experience using Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, and Illustrator. InDesign is a plus

Knowledge of advanced photo editing and retouching in Photoshop such as color correction is a huge plus

Knowledge of simple video editing for social media

Excellent written communication skills and will have the opportunity to write brand-appropriate copy
